Everyone knows IVF is expensive but until you have had to actually pay $15,000.+ just to get pregnant you really have no idea!
The down payment on a house, money towards a new car...all gone to IVF AND I haven't even started it yet! It is just hard when you are spending huge amounts of money for something that may or may not work. I would be lying if I said that I do not question soemtimes whether or not this will all be worth it! It is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating and annoying and heartbreaking but I know it will all be worth it in the end!
...Just keep reminding me of that!! ;)

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that ten years ago I was in your same situation with IVF. We had the expense of IVF with an additional surgery for my husband that insurance didn't pay. I feel your pain but it's worth it in the end. (I know it's easier for me to say that now)
ReplyDeleteYour words and thoughts sound so much like I did when we were trying to conceive. I looked at it from the $ part also because it just didn't seem fair and 10 years later, it's still not covered by insurance. I know it's hard but try to look past all of that- and keep your eye on the "prize"!
Don't give up and press on! Our 4th time worked and we had triplets. My motto on our last IVF was "You have got to "Believe"". Prayers for you during this time ~Believe in his plan.
